CROWNED WITH GLORY AND HONOR AND GIVEN DOMINION

For all of us who have believed the lies of the evil one about our worth, our value, and have believed that we are insecure, and inferior, I encourage you to RUN to Psalm 8:5: "YOU made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor."  The psalmist asked of Elohim, Creator God, "What is man that YOU are mindful of him?"  

The next verse reminds us that HE has given us dominion over the works of His hands.  We are the highest of LORD GOD'S creation and HE has given us glory and honor.  This glory and honor was bestowed on man when in the Councils of Heaven that the HOLY TRINITY spoke the words, "Let US make man in OUR IMAGE, in our LIKENESS and let him rule....." Genesis 1:26 We, as God's highest creation crowned with glory and honor, became satan's target because of jealousy and his own fears.  I know well that satan, the deceiver did a real job on us in the Garden, but Calvary did the greatest damage on satan and his minions...sin's power, sin's penalty on us, and death with its fear and stench was defeated. Oh Yes!  He was disarmed and shamed at Calvary.  LOVE IT!!

I wonder why do we allow our circumstances interpret our worth totally ignoring the real TRUTH of glory and honor which crown us and dominion given to us?  Amazing how we run back to the default thinking of lies which we have practiced so well and have allowed satan to hear and see our behavior in the practice of those lies.  Ephesians 6:14, "Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist."  Grab your belt of God's truth and let's buckle it on!  KNOW the TRUTH about you from GOD'S WORD.

REHEARSALS

  I wonder how much time do I give to rehearsing God's goodness and how He has intervened in my life to "save" me from myself?  How alike the Israelites I can be, complaining about what goes wrong, how it affects me, and what I lack.  As a Christ follower, I have the Indwelling Holy Spirit to give me remembrance NOT of my complaining and grumbling, but of a recall of God's faithfulness to me.  It is recorded in Psalms 78 and 106 that " They forgot what He had done, the wonder He had shown them", "They did not remember His power--the day He redeemed them from the oppressor...", "They did not remember Your many kindnesses, and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Sea.", "But they soon forgot what He had done and did not wait for His counsel.", and "They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt...". ORDER AND DESIGN

    I do not have OCD, but I do confess that I like order in my home.  Now that I am retired, I am not so much into spotless, but "picked up" and "kinda" clean. (Do not open drawers and closets!) I might go to more trouble when I know I am having company, but otherwise, I remove the clutter that seems to reproduce on its own.   When I began the reading in Genesis in January, I was again taken with the with the orderliness and design of God in creation, and have seen Him use Moses and Aaron to ORDERLY marshal the Israelites to move out of Egypt. How do you move some 600+ males and that is not even wives and children? Animals also?  They have been one year+ out of Egypt, and have been camped at Mt.
